(Buckeye Purple F2Bx x Gorilla Grape)

Every year i make one batch of seed on my dime for my friend at Woodhorse.
This time he asked me to increase the old line called “Gorilla Grape” for him.

I used the opportunity to create the Gorgeous to see how GG inherits in crosses. Gorilla Grape was made by Outlaw & combined the “Purple Urkle” clone with “Double Purple Doja” males. It’s an old school variety that takes 8w, well known and appreciated especially among medicinal growers.

To create “Gorgeous Grape” i mixed the GG with Melvanetics’ Buckeye Purple.
This one was released about 10 years back and is an indica that showes reliable colors starting at week three after flip. It is a pretty reliable dark purple strain. It grows like a Purple Grape-type with a reliable couchlock-effect.
The lineage was: GDP x Gorilla Grape … I got some seeds via TSD back around 2014 and used two females to create my Gorilla Grape ‘Bx-stack’ = (GDP x GG) x GG = Gorgeous.

(Pictures show the plants i tested and they are seeded with F2’s. But they do show the colors of the “Gorgeous Grape” very nice.)

“Gorgeous Grape” is a solid indica with beautiful purple flowers and a grapey taste. The plants grow very easy and don’t need much attention in their 8w of flowering. I only made a few seeds to work the line into somthing that i can use later on … It will drop only this once and will never come back as an ‘F1’ again.
