Last season these were untested and without pictures. Understandably, not a lot of you took the chance. But those who did were treated with very cool early outdoor cross.

A long-time fellow grower of the UK, Muds, who has a lot of big seasons under his belt rated this one a 10/10. Here are a few of his words:

They stink to high heavens. Pure sour rotten skunk, zero fruit, could smell them a good 50m from the plot. About two weeks overcooked and out of all 30ish plants I found 1 tiny piece of mold, very impressed. Some proper old school stuff, everyone that’s had some says the same. Will be going big on them this year.

The buds are dark green with purple tints and a dusting of very small trichs, average leaf to calyx ratio, decent density and a nice average overall looks.

And then there is that smell, that old school funky skunk/cheese/gas. Not recommend for plots near people, a powerhouse of stench that fully transfers after being dried. They dry to a spicy sour garlic taste, very nice indeed!

They can be harvested end of August at 52N but I recommend leaving them till mid/end of September, they can take it.

The pics are also from his hand. Thanks Muds for testing these out for everyone!

All plants that finish before mid September come with two great caveats:
1. You should transplant them early, keep them max 3 weeks in small pots. When the roots get rootbound they will start to flower and they won’t be able to recover from that.
2. They reach peak flower when the nights are still warm. If you catch a period of rainy weather at those times they won’t be able to fight of the molds. This makes those real early varieties a bit of a gamble: harvest outstanding herb when the sun shines, but lose harvest to mold when you hit bad weather.
